Raising Capable Teens

5 Capability Shifts That Changed My Homeschool

Capability Shift 2 of 5

Maybe Motivation Isn't the Real Problem

One of the biggest changes in my homeschooling happened when I stopped asking,

"How do I motivate my daughter?"

and started asking,

"What responsibility is still mine?"

That question changed everything.

Today's lesson explores why what looks like a motivation problem is often an ownership opportunity.

I hope it helps you see your teen, and yourself, with fresh eyes.

💛Press play whenever you are ready.

Think about one responsibility you are still carrying for your teen.

Could they begin taking ownership of even a small part of it?

Remember, you are not aiming for perfection.

You are creating opportunities to practice.

Capability grows one opportunity at a time.
